UPS just delivered my G3 iBook that you replaced the logic board in. I want to thank you for the unbelievable, extremely quick turnaround. I also noticed that you went beyond the logic board replacement and fixed the connector to the Airport card (now I have great reception, MUCH better than before), tightened the gap that existed at the bottom of the LCD and replaced a missing rubber foot on the bottom. At first i was hestitate about the price DT&T quoted me $395 because my local store charge me over a thousand US dollars on my powerbook G4 12" lcd screen. That's the whole computer's worth. Got online and talked some people on apple discussion group i was glad someone have actually use them before and highly recommended them. Super service! Shipped my PowerBook on Wednesday for logic board replacement and got it back on Friday. Works perfectly. Telephone instructions very personal and friendly.
"I was very upset when my Tibook hinge broke. After checking around I found
only exorbitant repair estimates and was ready to give up. Apple only
replaces the entire LCD at a cost worth more than the computer itself. I
called them he said "send it in no problem". His service was
excellent as well as the workmanship. I couldn't even tell it had been
repaired ! I now have a reliable place for all my Mac repairs and I'm
telling my friends too!
my white ibook had logic board problem, unfortunately it was not in Apple warranty because serial number not quality. I took to my local Apple store and they quoted me almost $500 buck, I call DT&T and they charge $225 total.
I save alot of money, and only took them 1 day turnaround, i was impressed.
I phoned DT&T last Monday just a few minutes before their closing time. The part was in stock and they said it would be shipped Tuesday and should arrive on Friday. It didn't. It got here Thursday, even with the Christmas crush of shipping. The part worked as it should. It's nice to have a good first experience with a vendor who delivers what you order, on time, with no hassles.
