This is a repair of the logic board or procesor which normally shown symptoms such as; no boot, no video, no power, frequent freezing or crashing, or Kernel Panic, blue screen, loud fan noise or no video, or liquid loolant leaks.

You can either send us just the logic board or processor or the whole systems, cost is the same either way. However, we highly recommend sending in the whole system for a complete diagnostic at no additional cost. If you are not sure which part is bad, we recommend that you mail-in or walk-in with the whole unit for free diagnostics.

  *Special notes: common symptoms Power Mac G5 models that have problems like: not booting up, crash, freezes, kernel panic or erratic fan behavior are usually due to a bad processor and or bad logic board. We do not recommend ordering a logic board or processor to fix your G5 because there is a special software call Thermal Calibration that you have to run when replacing the logic board or processor. If you don't run the Thermal Calibration, then the fan will go wild and the computer will freeze up. This is why we highly recommend that you carry in or mail in the whole unit to us for testing at no charge.
